In March of 2018, the Prince
George's County Health
Department in conjunction with
SAMHSA and the Maryland
Department of Health tapped
Quinntessential Media to create
and implement an initiative to
re-brand and re-focus public
awareness concerning the
negative effects of marijuana
use within the county.
With a core demographic of
young African Americans ages
12-24, parents and Hispanic
youth as a secondary target, the
#RUWOKE campaign included
creative messaging with
delivery via traditional (Radio &
Out of Home) and social media.
